The American Society for Virology sponsors a limited number of travel awards to defray travel costs to the Annual Meeting. Applications are available to download from the links listed below and submit to the ASV Secretary-Treasurer's office at the address listed on the forms. A copy of the abstract you submitted to FASEB for the ASV’09 annual meeting must be submitted with your application.
The deadline for submission of applications has passed.
The following application forms are available for:
· Graduate/Undergraduate students studying virology
· Postdoctoral Fellows studying virology
· Medical virology fellows or junior faculty
· Teachers of undergraduate students
· Scientists from Latin America
Graduate students, undergraduate students and postdoctoral fellows must be members of ASV or have applied for membership by February 2, 2009 in order to be eligible for these awards. Both the applicant and the ASV full member sponsor must be current (dues paid for 2009) members of ASV in order to qualify for a travel award.
